The Sounds of India

As I was waking up from a nap yesterday I counted all the sounds I heard....

The man on the bicycle ringing his bell...
The children yelling and playing in the alley below...
The people talking downstairs...
The dog barking...
The distant sounds of the taxis honking on the street...
The door shutting two doors down...
and then, just in time-my favorite "call to prayer" from the mosque.

I guess you live in the quiet part of the city. How about this sound, "clickety, clickety, clickety, pant, sniff sniff" Can you guess? It is the sound of Simba coming to get ya, his nails on the hardwood floor. At least the call to prayer doesn't lick you in the face.
(sorry dad)
Miss you,

Hey, I was going to put a dog reference too! My sounds in the morning are a baby crying and a dog snoring. Sometimes a fountian running but depends on what time Jack wakes up.

Besides the sniff...sniff "pant...pant"...burp! (and I'm not talking about mom)...There's the cluck! cluck! yip! yip!...followed by the squawk, squawk of the blue jays!!!

But the best sound this week will be "Nana!" "Papa!" from the room upstairs since Calvin and Carter are staying here and going to KRUZ KIDZ everyday.

Miss you and glad you are feeling better.
